Hammurabi
Hammurabi began conquering cities controlled by the amorites to the north south. Hammurabi was thought to be a just ruler. He is best known for creating a set of laws for his emprie. He posted this law code for all to read. The code of Hammurabi was stricter than the old Sumerian laws. The code of Hammurabi is demananded what became knawn has "an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. Hammurabi died C. 1750 B.C.The Hammurabi Code is a well-preserved as babylonian law code, dating back to about 1772 B.C. It is one of the oldest deciphered writings of significant length in the world.

Nebuchadnezzar ||
Nebuchadnezzar created a new empire. King Nebuchasnezzar rebuilt Babylon making it the largest and richest city in the world. He built the gardens to please his life. Nebuchadnezzar built a beautiful street near the palace that they could visit. Nebuchadnezzar was born on 634 B.C. and died on 562 B.C. He is credited with the construction of the Hanging Garden of Babylon and for the destruction of the First Temple He is featured in the Book of Daniel and is mentioned in several other books of the Bible.

Chandragupta Maurya
Chandragupta Maurya built a strong army. Chandragupta Maurya set out to conquer Northern India and the region under his rule. Chandragupta Maurya was the first ruler of the Mauryan dynasty. He crushed any resistance to his rule. He was very cautious. He was afraid of being poisoned so he had servants taste his food before he ate it. He was so concerned about being attacked that he never slept two nights in a row in the same bed. Chandragupta Maurya was (born C. 340 B.C, ruled C. 320 B.C – 298 B.C.

Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha)
Siddhartha Gautama was a very wealthy prince, he was known for giving up his life to find the real meaning of life. He became the Buddha. He was very famous for developing the philosophy of Buddhism which focuses on the four Noble Truths and the Eight Folded Path. Siddhartha Gautama was born in a small kingdom in the southern Himalayas in modern day Nepal. Siddhartha Gautama was born C. 563 B.C-483 B.C.
